“Forces of Nature”

This tree silhouette inspired me to paint the idea of the wind and the seasons. I wanted to use colors to give the idea of the seasons moving around the tree. The tree is the constant and the seasons change the look of it, day by day, month by month.

This special piece is 12" diameter, acrylic on wood, finished by adding the metal silhouette tree and clear KS Resin epoxy UV resistant art finish. The piece is equipped with wiring for hanging, but the epoxy allows it to alternatively be used as functional art, leaving the collector with many choices to enjoy the art piece.
